Flash Forward Incubator 2022
Dreamers
After a year and a half of living with a global pandemic, lockdowns, social justice movements, and climate disasters that have both affected the world and us personally, where are we now? And where are we going? How can dreams and being a dreamer move us forward?
The theme for this year’s Flash Forward Incubator Program invites participants to think deeply about “Dreamers”, to express emotions, feelings and thoughts in a tangible or visible manner; to reveal truths that are either visible or hidden and to offer people a view of the world from your unique and personal perspective.
What does it mean to you to dream BIG? Where do you want to see positive changes made? A brighter future for the environment or our friends and family? A brighter future for social justice? What does our big, bright and beautiful future look like? Can we see it already?
This year offers an opportunity to dream, think about the future, and create images that reflect the thoughts, impulses and ideas that come to us.
The Magenta Foundation gratefully acknowledges the support of the RBC Emerging Artists Project for their ongoing commitment to emerging artists.
