Flash Forward is The Magenta Foundation's annual emerging photographers competition. Now in its third year, this compelling look at exciting new work from three countries brings to light the talent and promise of an exceptional group of photographers.

Flash Forward showcases the future of photography, focusing on emerging talent that jurors have identified as having great potential. This small volume is essential for curators, collectors, advertising professionals and artists who wish to stay fully informed about up-and-coming photographers.

Photographers featured this year include: Jaime Campbell, Robyn Cumming, Adrian Fish, Jeff Harris, Adam Harrison, Eamon Mac Mahon, and Rob Mcinnis from Canada; Olivia Arthur, Charlie Crane, Sophie Gerrad, Guy Martin, Edgar Martins, Helga Steppan, and Andrea Testoni from the UK; Andrea Chu, Heather Culp, Matt Eich, Christopher LaMarca, William Lamson, Beatrix Reinhardt, and Shen Wei from the US.

Recycling Bin Exhibition

The Magenta Foundation is delighted to participate in EcoMedia Direct Inc's ongoing campaign to beautify the streetscape by taking everyday sidewalk recycling bins and wrapping them in art. From October 2007 to January 2008, in Toronto's Financial District, images from Flash Forward 07 will adorn the city's SilverBox® recycling bins.
