Who is The Magenta Foundation

The Magenta Foundation (Magenta): A national art-community collaborator for the future of the arts in Canada for 20 years.

Magenta is a trailblazing charitable arts-publishing house that consistently showcases the work of talented artists on a global scale, drawing attention to under-represented and emerging artists with powerful exhibitions and a roster of impressive international publications.

Our unique arts programs—for emerging and underserved artists—allow us to foster future talent across Canada. This empowers young adults to elevate their talents and abilities for a future in the arts as cultural producers within and beyond their communities. By focusing on the early output of future practitioners, Magenta is committed to cultivating the next generation of artists and industry professionals through hands-on mentorship that will potentially inform a lifelong practice.

Magenta’s sole focus since its inception is to advocate for underserved communities and artists, and to be a leader in inclusivity and diversity. Our record for this remains unparalleled.
