Happy December, Magenta Friends! Hope you are about to embark on a happy and relaxing holiday season.
We just wanted to remind you that if you visited the Edition Toronto Book Fair in October (or especially if you couldn’t make it), Edition Toronto has a lovely online shop to explore at editioneditions.com.
Among the publications and artist multiples is a limited edition globe object and USB key, containing interactive art by Alex McLeod. Available in three colours: Black, White, and Grey – each version contains a different video. Also included are Inuit artist Nicotye Samayualie’s latest work, artist books by Tau Lewis and Celia Perrin Sidarous, as well as John Hiltunen, Joe Becker, Colin Zipp, Jesse Harris, Graham Gillmore and others. Check it out here, and let us know what you think! We’re always happy to hear from you on Magenta’s Facebook page or that of Edition Toronto.
Magenta Foundation is proud to sponsor the /edition Toronto art book fair with Division Gallery.

October 28-31, 2016 will mark the first /edition art book fair in Toronto. Running concurrently with Art Toronto, Canada’s international art fair at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the /edition fair shares a focus on contemporary art practices. /edition will welcome book publishers, commercial galleries, artist-run centres, and independent artists, collectives, book-makers and dealers from around the world. Visitors will have their eyes and minds opened to alternative ways of looking at and collecting art as they browse a wide range of contemporary and historical editions, multiples, publications and collectible art-related ephemera.
/edition Toronto is dedicated to the promotion of art book publishing, in all forms, while building an appreciation for artworks produced in editions of more than one.
We also invite you to connect with /edition Toronto via social media and to use the easy-to-remember tag #editiontoronto:
Happy October and we will see you there!
