Magenta POP Pittsburgh Has Arrived!
This past September, Magenta collaborated with Fairmont Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and PNC Bank, to launch the first in a series of POP exhibitions in beautiful downtown Pittsburgh! The outdoor photography installations feature the work of local artists Sue Abramson and Philomena O’Dea and are on display from September 23 – October 22 in Triangle Park, adjacent to Fairmont Pittsburgh. The dynamic exhibitions add colour, dimension and vitality to an otherwise blank urban landscape.
Mounted on durable and envrionmentally-friendly canvases, the exhibitions were seamlessly installed by our long-term partners at Boston Building Wraps, who are experts at producing temporary outdoor art installations.
On September 26, Magenta POP was officially unveiled with a special VIP Reception in the Fairmont Pittsburgh lobby. Guests were treated to signature cocktails, hors d’ouevres, and entertainment, while mingling with representatives from the worlds of business, media and culture. The inaugural Magenta POP installation has received exceptionally positive feedback from the public and media alike. It debuted as the week’s #1 cultural activity in Pop City, Pittsburgh’s cultural reference guide.
