Flash Forward 2010

The upcoming Flash Forward Festival 2010 now has its own web site, at www.flashforwardfestival.com, which will be updated with new features and information as the festival approaches.

Magenta Television

The web site for Magenta Television, our web-based interactive photography arts TV channel, has recently been redesigned — check it out at www.magentatelevision.com.

Magenta Magazine Online

If you haven't yet checked out the all new Magenta Magazine Online, please do! The site has had a major overhaul and is now a completely online publication.

Flash Forward 2009

Magenta would like to thank all the artists who submitted their work to this project. The initial exhibition & book launch was held at Lennox Contemporary in Toronto, in October 2009, and a second exhibition took place at FotoWeek DC, in Washington, DC, in November 2009. Other exhibitions to be announced. The book is available for purchase here.

Carte Blanche 2: Painting

The exhibition mounted in conjunction with the release of Carte Blanche Vol. 2: Painting opened on November 15, 2008 at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA). Curators David Liss, Director of MOCCA, and Clint Roenisch, independent curator, chose work by ten artists from each category (Emerging, Mid-Career and Established), thirty in total, to be featured in the exhibition. The book is available for purchase here.

2nd: The Face of Defeat

Magenta is pleased to announce the publication of 2nd: The Face of Defeat by Sandy Nicholson. Book launch & exhibition opening: Sep 25, 2008, at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto.
